What is a Vacation Rental?
A vacation rental is an apartment that is rented on a short-term basis (even a per-night basis) and functions as an alternative to booking a hotel.

What is included?
All of rentals are FULLY FURNISHED. All of our apartments include all towels, linens, kitchen-ware and dish-ware.

Great! How do I book an apartment?
You can search for available apartments a book online immediately with a major credit card!

How much do I have to pay to book an apartment?
We require 50% down payment on reservation on any reservation made more than 14 days in advance. Any reservations made within 14 days within arrival, require 100% payment.  We accept eCheck or Credit Card (VISA, MASTER CARD, and DISCOVER).

What are the check-in and check-out times?
We work with you to ensure a flexible check-in and out. Our standard check-in time is 3pm on the day of your arrival and our standard check-out time is 11am on the day of your departure. 

What are your check-out procedures?
In most cases, guests can check themselves out on the date and time of their schedule departure. Keys can be left inside the unit, and the guest can lock the door from the inside on their way out!

How will we receive the key the apartment?
A MetroFlats Property Manager will meet you on the date and time of your arrival to answer any and all questions you may have, as well as provide you with the keys to the apartment

How can I find out about promotions and/or specials?
We post many of our specials online, however please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions about promotions!

What is the cancellation policy?
A full refund is only provided if we are notified of the cancellation 4 weeks prior to your arrival. Our full cancellation policy can be seen below:
A full refund will be issued if notified of cancellation four (4) weeks prior to arrival. 75% is refund will be issued if notified of cancellation three (3) weeks prior to arrival. 50% refund will be issued if notified of cancellation two (2) weeks prior to arrival. 25% refund will be issued if notified of cancellation one (1) week prior to arrival. 0% refund will be issued if notified of cancellation under one (1) week of arrival. A charge back of 2% will be applied as a refund-processing fee.

Where can we park in New York City?
Finding street parking can be difficult, so we typically recommend guest find an inexpensive parking garage. One of the best resources to do this is: http://nyc.bestparking.com/

What's the best way to get from the airport?
There several private shuttles from JFK, LaGuardia as well as Newark, however MetroFlats does offer private taxi service to and from both JFK and LaGuardia.
